I have been a dog owner for many years and have shared my life with a lot wonderful dogs from puppy to the older rescue. I presently have seven dogs.
My life changed 6 years ago when Webster, a then 9 month old puppy who had been returned to his breeder twice came to live with us. He was described as "very boisterous and untrainable". He had been to traditional dog training classes, but his latest family could no longer cope with him.
Webster was to start me on a journey of research and study where I have learned how dogs communicate and their behaviours. Importantly, how to understand, communicate and work with dogs using only a natural and kind approach.
Since begining my own journey with Webster, it has become my aim to improve the lives of dogs and their owners through education, treating all dogs and owners as individuals and with respect.
I continue to update my skills and expand my knowledge.
I receive referals from a number of Veterinary Surgeons within the North East and the RSPCA (Great Ayton). I also support the RSPCA giving advice and help to people adopting dogs from them, if they are experiencing problems. Together with attending their Gala day by invitation, to give advice and answer questions on behavioural issues.
